The (Damned) D's

I have really struggled with
those D’s,
despite all the work in and
out of speech.

There are some really important
words that end in D, like:
God,
Good,
Weird,
Not to mention,
Any word that ends with an -ed.

I had a breakthrough this week
when Ian noticed...
I offered him some food
(not foot, which drives me crazy.)

Then he said:
“Mom, you’re really getting
good at those D’s!”

It’s not perfect,
and it's still a lot of work,
but THAT kept me going this week.
