Destination: Hell.

Mode of transport: Hand basket.

Number of passengers: The entire freakin' world.

Or so it would seem.

People keep asking me when the madness in our nation and in the world at large is going to end. Or, at the very least, calm down. I can assume, without much of a stretch, that that is a distinctly popular question with other psychics and astrologers these days, not just with me.

There was a time in my career when I might have opted for the happy answer; not dishonest, just…easy. Easy to understand and receive, relatively easy to explain. There was also a time, not so very long ago, when I thought it would not be so long before things did ease up.

Here’s the truth I have come to, hard as it might be to accept: I think it may well be a very long time before the current chaos comes to its inevitable fruition.

The elements of corruption are being systematically rooted out and purged from our world—planetarily, evolutionarily and spiritually.

Corruption is defined by Webster as, “impairment of integrity; a departure from the original or from what is pure or correct.”

Lack of integrity and departure from the divine nature can be found pretty much everywhere, in every one of our modern day structures—be it a corporation, an organization, a family, or the psyche of the individual.

We are experiencing a global chemicalization*, and as is the nature of a healing crisis, it will last as long as the wounds are deep.

The easy translation of that? Ouch. BIG ouch. The shit hath hitteth the fan…eth. Big time. And it’s about time. And it will continue to fly until it’s really, truly cleaned up—not merely covered over or walked away from in habitual, historical denial.

Nothing, and no one, is exempt from the transformation at hand. That being said, let me say the most important thing:

YOU CAN HANDLE IT.

God did not make any of us lightly. You did not come into this life, into this race of humans, arbitrarily.

If you’re here, you have everything it takes to make whatever you’re experiencing count in the most profound way imaginable, by honoring your pain and following it to the places that most need healing.

If you’re here, you have everything necessary to cull the blessings from the nightmare and emerge, as William Wallace called the Scottish patriots who won their freedom from the English against impossible odds, a “warrior poet”…with courage, heart, and faith that has been tested into serious mettle.

You have it in you to face the diagnosis, or the lawsuit, or the layoff, or the foreclosure; to grieve the shattered relationship, the failed business, the broken heart… and to heal and come to love and trust and believe in goodness and mercy again, more surely and more strongly than ever before.

You have it in you, because you are a child of God—intrinsically connected to a power that can move any mountain, right any wrong, bear any burden, and lead you every single time out of the darkness with gifts in hand.

Amazing, what that one realization can do when you’re in the middle of the mess, convinced by your human self that you are completely and utterly A.L.O.N.E.

Amazing, to know you only have to remember who, and what, you really are, in order to become it.
